Strong winds blew into town on Tuesday — and blow hard they will this time of year here in Reno. The highest gust recorded at 55 mph didn’t hold a candle though to the record back in 2002 when the National Weather Service recorded a gust at 82 mph. It makes me wonder if I shouldn’t take a closer look at starting a wind “farm” here with all this talk of going green in the news. Whatever the wind, Forever Awnings customers can always rest easy knowing that our trellises are designed to withstand wind gusts over 120 mph. Welcome spring!
